Where it all began
In 1960, in a modest living room in Naples, a young woman named Filomena threaded her first needle. What began as a simple gesture grew into a family legacy.
Embroidery became more than decoration, it became a language, expressed through floral motifs, monograms, and cherished heirlooms passed down from one generation to the next.
Tuscany: Where Passion Took Root
In the 1970s, Filomena settled in Carrara and opened her first atelier in nearby Ceparana.
It was there that designers and discerning clients discovered something rare in her work: craftsmanship shaped as much by instinct as by technique.
A Craft Passed Down, Thread by Thread
As demand grew, Filomena began training young artisans, passing down the techniques she had inherited herself.
For her, the true luxury of the atelier lay not only in each stitch, but in the knowledge carried within it.

More than sixty years later, the atelier partners with designers, architects, and private clients around the world to create bespoke textiles for exceptional residences, yachts, hotels, and private aircraft.
Every commission begins with a conversation and is crafted by hand in Carrara, using techniques faithfully preserved since 1960.

Inspiration
Every piece begins with a conversation — a photograph, a family heirloom, the colours of a room. What you share with us becomes the starting point for something made exclusively for you.

Hand Drawing
Our artists sketch each design by hand, refining the scale and placement of every motif until it feels perfectly suited to the piece.

Fabric Sourcing & Thread Selection
We select the linen or cotton best suited to your piece, and choose the thread colours that will bring the design to life — tested against the fabric before any stitching begins.

Digital Artwork
Once the sketch is approved, we translate it into a digital format — defining stitch directions and preparing the artwork for embroidery.

Technical Layout
A full-scale technical layout shows exactly how the embroidery will be positioned on your linen, allowing you to visualise the finished piece before a single stitch is made.

Sampling
A sample is embroidered using the same fabric and threads as your final piece. You review and approve it — or we refine it further — before production begins.

Quality Control
Every finished piece is carefully inspected, stitch by stitch — checking tension, colour accuracy and finishing details, so nothing leaves our atelier that isn't perfect.

Final Piece
Your commission is then carefully pressed, packaged, and shipped to you fully tracked and insured — typically within six to eight weeks of your approval.
