Our creations are sold to consumers only, acting outside any trade or profession. To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to contract. Consumers resident in the European Union benefit from a 14-day right of withdrawal — see our Withdrawal Form. Delivery, returns, exchanges and cancellation terms are set out in full in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase; the contract is formed once we confirm acceptance and/or dispatch your order. We may decline an order — for example where an item is unavailable, payment cannot be validated, or fraud is suspected. Bespoke and made-to-order pieces may require a deposit before production begins, and cancellations or modifications may only be accepted within 24 hours of purchase. We reserve the right to update these terms or product availability without notice.

Prices shown include VAT for EU countries but exclude taxes and import duties for others. For shipments outside the European Union, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees required by the destination country.

Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers, and we do not store your payment card details.

Customers must protect their account passwords and report any unauthorized access.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU. Full details and the model form are on our Withdrawal Form page. In accordance with Article 16 of the Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are custom-made or personalised to your specifications — including monogrammed linens, bespoke embroidery and made-to-measure pieces — except in the event of a manufacturing defect.

Independently of the right of withdrawal, consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity. Your goods must conform to the contract, and for a minimum of two (2) years from delivery, in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/771, you are entitled to remedies at no cost — repair, replacement, an appropriate price reduction or a refund — where the goods are not in conformity. This legal guarantee is separate from, and additional to, any commercial warranty. To make a claim, contact us at contact@maisonalia.com with your order number and, where possible, photographs.

All content on this site — including designs, images, text, logos and the Maison Alia name — is owned by Interior Edit S.A.R.L. or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used without our prior written permission.

Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We take the greatest care in creating and delivering our pieces. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your mandatory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

For any question or complaint, please contact us first at contact@maisonalia.com; we will do our best to resolve the matter amicably. Where applicable, consumers resident in the European Union may also be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) or mediation scheme to settle disputes out of court.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Principality of Monaco. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you continue to benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of habitual residence, and you may bring proceedings before the competent courts there.
